Frequently Asked Questions

Our tipi can comfortably seat up to 150 people, our tables and chairs can seat up to 150 on bench style seating & inviting chill out area. If you are happy with a mix of seating and standing the maximum capacity is 200 people. If you have larger numbers, we can hire in additional structures and facilities to accommodate.

Your hire period for the Tipi is for up to a 12-hour period, please advise your event manager of your hours of usage. Additional charges apply for anything longer than 12 hours. Hours of usage are available from 8am – 11.30pm

What’s included in venue hire?
Exclusive hire of our four-hat tipi includes furniture, flooring, lighting, heating, inbuilt PA system with microphones.
Outside of the tipi hire includes your event field, 7 toilet block adjacent and plenty of space for parking up to 500 cars and coaches.

You have exclusive use of the Tipi and the event field for the hours of your tenancy. We do have additional event fields onsite so if you want full exclusive site hire please ask your event manager for more information.

Yes, but there is no onsite accommodation. If you are interested in hiring Glamping Bell Tents, then please speak to your event manager for more information.
Most guests choose to stay offsite in a local hotel; for a list of recommended local hotels please ask your event manager.

The design of the Tipi fabric and structure means all the water runs off it so stay inside the Tipi where it is warm and dry.

We have a large number of activities that can be hired to bring your event to life ranging from garden games, fete stalls, inflatables, country pursuits and more so please speak to your event manager if you need some inspiration.

We have a range of great independent caterers that we work with to bring your event to life. Depending on the look and feel of the event you are wanting to create with have connections with some great caterers and street food traders who can support you.

Yes, but this must be provided by a licensed provider, and they must provide health & safety information to Eventurous ahead of your event. Guests are not permitted to bring their own alcohol on site.

We work with a preferred responsible supplier who is committed to send zero waste to landfill.

Our Tipi is beautiful but if you wish to enhance with your own décor then this must be within set up and taken down within your tenancy hours.

You can put flags on the driveway to welcome your guests to your event. You must leave the tipi as you found it so speak to your event manager about ways you can brand and personalize the site. Options include installing hanging banners or posters from the cross poles/apex of the tipi or having your company logo projected onto the canvas of the tipi.

Yes, we are proud to say our tipi venue is rated ECOsmart Gold and therefore meets over 50% of the recommended initiatives from sustainability experts – Greengage Solutions.

Yes. We do not allow any firework displays or drones onsite in Mythe Farm.

Eventurous can provide the feature area to host the entertainment to include the stage, screens, lighting, PA, dance floor and technical staff support.

Yes, but with some limitations. Acoustic music is fine, but they must be able to connect to a state of art sound system which is suspended over the dance floor. If your band has a drum set they must be electric only and be able to connect to our in tipi PA.
No additional loudspeakers are permitted at Sheepy Meadows / Mythe Farm.
Bands must finish their sets no later than 22:30 hours.
All entertainment music must finish by 11:30 hours.

Yes but the noise must be restricted to 90Dcb, and a TEN’s must be completed and approved in advance of your event. Outdoor performances must be finished by 8pm; unless they are acoustic or silent disco. Please ask your event manager for more information.

Yes, but they must be always supervised. Speak to your event manager about our child-friendly activities to help keep your children entertained.

We always recommend our clients invest in event insurance especially when they are investing so much time and money in an event.

Yes you can but your event manager has an extensive list of suppliers who we regularly work with so let us manage this on your behalf.

Yes we do! We have 500 spaces just seconds from Sheepy Meadows tipi venue.
