It's been a pleasure to be working with Eventurous for the second time. Kieron is very patient and understanding of what we are trying to achieve with the entertainment at dinner.
We had Bruce and his 4 colleagues performing Haka for the miaList Awards dinner. The activity itself was very good and they did get everyone up and moving and engaging with them. The feedback received from delegates was that it was a "fun and unexpected" activity and they did enjoy it. I had the chance to have a chat with Bruce and the team after their performance as well and they are lovely people- it was a pleasure to be working with them. I highly recommend the HAKA: it works for conferences and it also works for dinners as well.

Diamond Heist team building activity and Haka performers were both brilliant in such different ways.
Charlie who facilitated Diamond Heist was a great personality and has had many comments since, the activity itself was perfect for our curious employee workforce and it really did get people thinking. No doubt there were sighs of relief when the final code was figured out!
The Haka Energiser was 11/10. I would watch it again in a heartbeat and doubt I would get bored. The humour that comes with the talk and the information was great and kept the room entertained all throughout the session.

The length of time your conference energiser or ice breaker will last depends on which you choose, time in your agenda and your audience size however most tend to follow the same rule of thumb and last anywhere between 20 minutes and 1 hour.
Yes most definitely. Ice breakers and energisers are designed to fit seamlessly around your conference and your agenda. The idea for most of them is to add an element of surprise to your content on the day, therefore it needs to be slotted in discretely. If equipment is required such as musical instruments then they can be used at delegate tables or seats.
Generally we always recommend you hold your energiser or ice breaker at the start of your event or after lunch.
These times work best for audience engagement. By getting your audience collaborating and engaging in the morning you can set a positive tone for the rest of the day. It can spark motivation and help break down any barriers to communication amongst delegates.
If you have some heavy content to get through, then an activity post lunch can be a great idea to help keep your audience engaged in the afternoon.
A popular favourite for large audiences is the Haka Workshop! This one can be held with as many delegates as you like, as no equipment is needed just your metaphorical dancing shoes!
