Build For Charity
Does your team want to put their hand to something tangible that gives back to those who need it most? This practical outdoor or indoor team building event, gives employees the opportunity to build a quality bike, skateboard or wheelchair, that can then be donated to charity afterwards. Great for internal teams of all sizes from 10 – 1000+.
Time: 2.5hrs
People: 10 - 1000+
Mental: 4/5
Physical: 2/5
Location: Outdoor/Indoor
Crafting for The Community
In this popular CSR team building event we give your employees the chance to work together on something truly remarkable. Building a bicycle, skateboard or wheelchair for those in need can mean a child gets the gift of their dreams, further accessibility and freedom or the chance to play outdoors.
The activity lasts around 2.5 hours and you will be placed in groups of 8. Following a briefing including a presentation about the charity behind the activity, teams will be sent to their workstations and given the equipment and knowledge needed to complete their bikes.
Take on further tasks to win money to buy upgrades for your build and improve your team score before heading to quality control for the grand finale and reveal of the winners.
Ask our friendly event management team for more information on this popular charity team building activity. Call us on 01827 215 200 or submit an enquiry below and we will come back to you within 24 hours.
Ignite Competition with Additional Challenges
If you want to heighten the healthy competition amongst teams then give them the chance to take on some of our additional team challenges for extra points and money to buy modifications for their bike, skateboard or wheelchair.
These challenges are designed to develop team skills, increase the fun factor and intensity of this team activity and improve the outcome for charity.
Challenge examples for the Bike Build include:
Nail It: A practical, think outside the box challenge involving further equipment.
Velodrome: A communication challenge involving information gathering and mental arithmetic.
Need 4 Speed: The favourite! Teams compete for title of “Champion of Sprints.” Fastest lap wins!
