A Decade of Commitment
The events industry is estimated to contribute around 10% of the worlds C02 emissions. For this reason, we must do our best as a united community to continue to provide first class experiences for our clients whilst doing our best to reduce, recycle, reuse and lower our carbon footprint where possible.
Our dedicated team have worked hard over the last 10 years to implement award winning sustainability initiatives on site and we now offer support for our clients to reach their own green goals.

Helping each other to do more for our planet
The Eventurous premises resides at the stunning 150 acre Mythe Farm in the heart of the midlands and is a haven for wildlife with a strong environmental focus.
Mythe Farm and Eventurous share the same ownership and are managed following the same principles.
Here at Eventurous we walk the walk when it comes to sustainability and are proud to have a team of mindful people who care about the environment.
Headed up by owners Joe and Joanna, the Eventurous premises at Mythe Farm have seen significant adjustments to positively enhance the environment and offset carbon emissions. Since, our in house Green Team have undergone extensive training with experts in event sustainability – Isla to ensure events and team building activities consider the environment at all times.
In 2024 the team are preparing to work with clients to measure and minimise the carbon impact of their events using their Carbon Calculator Tool.
Our team not only operate zero waste to landfill but are now working with Event Cycle to recycle old event equipment and materials.
In January 2025, we submitted our Carbon Footprint report to Net Zero Carbon Events and we are now working on our Net Zero targets.

Our Commitment To UN Sustainability Goals
There are 17 UN sustainability goals and we’ve pledged our promise to 8 of them that are realistic and achievable for our business.
Our Sustainability Journey
We planted 12,000 trees over 20 acres of land at our head office premises.
We converted old farm buildings into award winning venues, earning BREEAM equivalent of good.
We installed 500 solar panels, resulting in 18, 841kg of CO2 being saved - the equivalent of 10,000.
We built two beehives on site. Owner Joanna is a registered bee keeper and to this day she takes great care of them.
We diversified to offer virtual and hybrid events, limiting travel and therefore carbon emissions.
We planted a wildflower meadow and added bird feeders around the site, supporting wildlife and biodiversity.
We installed five electric vehicle chargers on site for staff, visitors and clients to use. We plan to install more in 2024.
We became an ECOsmart accredited agency and won Green Initiative of the Year at the Famtastic Awards.
Eventurous won 2 awards for Best Green Initiative from the miaList and Famtastic and Rising Star at the Greengage Awards.
We offered our team 4 hours volunteer time and promised to donate £50 for any fundraising.
We signed the net zero carbon events pledge.
Our team enrolled on advanced sustainability training with ISLA. Covering all aspects of event sustainability.
We submitted our carbon footprint report to Net Zero Carbon Events & we're now working on our targets.
We launched a staff wellbeing programme, with private healthcare and a buy back holiday scheme for YOU days.
Our Commitment to Charity & The Community
Here are some of the ways we ensure our commitment to helping those in need and our wider community.
Individual Support
We make a fixed amount donation to each member of staff who takes part in a fund raising event.
Local Individual Volunteering
From 2024, each team member will be given up to 4 hours out of a working day to spend on a charitable cause. For example, litter picking, food bank support, a local renovation project, supporting the elderly.
