The Event Management Project

The Event: The brief from returning client Ultimate Finance was to provide an away day with a difference and a focus on team wellness. In previous years Eventurous has planned Christmas themed conferences and awards and summer parties but this year they wanted something new that showed their hard working team how valued they are.

The Activities: The agenda consisted of an action-packed full day from 9 am to 6pm filled with activities across locations. Ahead of the event people selected the activities they wished to attend. The morning began with a welcome reception, where delegate registration took place and attendees were welcomed by Ultimate Finance branded flags and digital signage before being handed their branded lanyards.

The morning then consisted of a large group activity of all 140 attendees called Bridge the Divide in the Mallard Suite with views of the sun beaming off the waters of the nearby lake. Attendees were able to enjoy a breath of fresh air on the outdoor terrace with views of the local wildlife and countryside.

In the afternoon everyone separated into their groups for an afternoon of fun in the sun! Teams could choose to get active with a Treasure Hunt around the stunning town of Cirencester or Paddleboarding at the nearby water park or a calming Yoga or Ceramic Painting class.

The Results of the Event

 The day was deemed a success by all, with impeccable weather, a stunning location and venue and a happy team.

Venue: De Vere Cotswold Water Park was selected for its local proximity to the Ultimate Finance head office but also for its wellness offerings.
