The Venue
Telford International Centre was chosen for its versatile large event space situated in the Midlands with great transport links across the UK and plenty of accommodation on site.

The Event
Eventurous were bought on board by event management specialist Excellency Event Services (EES) to be the Event Production partner. The Eventurous team were responsible for interpreting the brief and fine tuning this into designing and installing a bespoke stage set, sound system and lighting and then running all AV elements of live event delivery for SK Group’s fast and action-packed agenda.

Ahead of the event, the creative team at Eventurous worked with the Excellency Event Services to bring the vision to life and design a unique concept.

The event duration was 4 days including a set up day, full day for rehearsal, live event from 9am – 1am and breakdown day to de-rig.

Excellency Event Services & SK Group (the largest Dominoes franchise in UK) wanted their event to look premium with innovative and engaging ways of delivering content in line with their branding. The audio and visual production of the event needed to make the audience feel motivated, re-enforcing their “LET’S DO THIS!” campaign.

The End Results

The Eventurous AV production main features delivered:

  • Stage: 100ft wide main feature stage and set with walkway to demo kitchen which hosted and live streamed cook-off competition
  • Stage: bespoke dual step access to stage for awards winners and reflective vinyl floor covering to give a premium studio feel and enhance the impact of the lighting
  • Visuals: a large 25ft x 12ft central LED wall, side LED walls for separate stream, flown projector screens, central suspended 3 projector triangle feature, ticker tape LED banner screen for audience messaging above stage and LED messaging screens above bar service points
  • Lighting: dynamic LED pixel tape lighting around stage, set and steps and wireless LED Titan tubes mapped to content production though the day and evening creating a 3-dimensional ever-changing look to enhance any visual content on screen and highlight the stage
  • Lighting: 7 suspended ceiling truss features packed with vibrant lighting to fill the large venue space
  • Production: full support of fast-moving agenda including multiple presenters, VT, keynote speakers, awards, cookery competition.

The brief included the transformation from a daytime conference to themed evening awards dinner.
